Rental Policies

Deposit Information

You are subject to a deposit of $99 to be paid upon booking the reservation. If you should cancel the reservation within the allowed cancellation period, prior to 7 days before the pick-up date, then your deposit will be returned to you. However, if you cancel your reservation in less than 7 days from your reservation, then your deposit becomes non-refundable and you are liable for any other additional charges that may be due, depending on your time of cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your rental reservation at any time; however, you will only be subject to a refund if the reservation is cancelled at least 7 days before the pick-up date. If the cancellation is requested in less than 7 days, you will not receive a refund of your deposit or any other charges that have been paid.


Driving Policy

When it comes to our drivers, we enforce a strict policy regarding their allowed hours of operation. Our driving policy follows the federal passenger carrying vehicle rule set by code 395.5. This means that our drivers follow the following regulation during their time on duty during for a client:

No motor carrier of passengers shall permit or require any passenger-carrying CMV driver to drive: 
  • More than 10 hours following 8 consecutive hours off duty, or 
  • For any period after having been on duty 15 hours following 8 consecutive hours off duty. 
No motor carrier of passengers shall permit or require any passenger-carrying CMV driver to drive, regardless of number of motor carriers using the driver’s services, for any period after the driver has been on duty: 
  • 60 hours in any 7 consecutive days if the carrier does not operate CMVs every day of the week; or 
  • 70 hours in any 8 consecutive days if the carrier operates CMVs every day of the week. 
Note: A Van-on-Demand rental service does not have a minimum or maximum requirement for the rental period. This means that if a client were to schedule a Van-on-Demand service for longer than the length allotted per 395.5, the driver will be legally required to not operate for 2 days of the week.


Insurance Policy

With our Van-on-Demand service, no passenger is required to show any proof of insurance. However, since we provide the vehicle and the driver, we do have insurance allowing us to operate legally. We have liability insurance covering up to $1.5 million, as well as physical damage coverage up to $130,000.


Pricing Policy

Our pricing is based on hourly use. Our GPS system tracker allows us to keep a log of the number of hours our drivers spend driving for our clients. After the trip has ended, we calculate the final price amount based on the driving hours logged and the price per hour for the specific vehicle that was driven.
